What were you studying/Where were you working?

I was studying Broadcast and Electronic Communication at Marquette University (Milwaukee, Wisconsin).

What are you currently doing (Work, studies, etc)?

I am an Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Admissions at Marquette University. I communicate with high school students daily and I often have the opportunity to encourage students to study abroad, specifically in Cape Town.

Most memorable experience at Bush Radio

The most memorable experience was simply all the great people I met. Everyone was so welcoming and willing to teach us as the interns. I also had great fun with the other interns, inside and outside the station. The braai at Adrian's place together with everyone from the station also added to the fun and helped us feel part of the Bush Radio family.

Most memorable experience of South Africa

There are too many great memories to pick just one! However, the opportunity to spend time in the townships was definitely a powerful experience. I miss seeing Table Mountain as well as the energy of the South African people.
